It's an honour to recieve 2nd prize at the 2011 Royal Easter show for the machine pieced and machine quilted category. This quilt is made using the foundation paper piecing method. It was based on a pattern by Judy Niemyer.  The contrast of dark blues and bright colours make this quilt quite striking. This was made for a special person in my life as it reminded me of her.
